Role Description The Offshore Senior Structural Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for leading structural engineering activities for offshore facilities and related assets. The role includes performing detailed structural analysis and design of offshore platforms, subsea structures, and associated components in accordance with industry codes, standards, and project specifications. The engineer will review and prepare design documentation, calculations, drawings, and reports, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams such as process, mechanical, piping, electrical, and project controls. Daily tasks involve guiding junior engineers, supporting design reviews, participating in risk and constructability assessments, and providing technical input during fabrication, installation, and commissioning. The role also includes interfacing with customers, responding to technical queries, and contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in offshore structural engineering practices. Qualifications - Strong expertise in offshore structural engineering, including design and analysis of fixed and floating structures, using relevant international codes and standards (e.g., API, ISO, DNV). Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (such as SACS, STAAD.Pro, ABAQUS, or similar tools) and ability to interpret finite element analysis results.Experience in the full project lifecycle for offshore assets, including concept and FEED, detailed design, fabrication, installation, and lifecycle integrity assessment.Solid understanding of hydrodynamics, load calculations (wave, wind, seismic, accidental loads), and fatigue and strength assessments for offshore applications.Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, coordinate with multidisciplinary stakeholders, and manage priorities in a fast-paced project environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical reports and present design outcomes to customers and internal teams.Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred) and substantial experience in offshore or marine structural design.Familiarity with safety, quality, and risk management practices in the offshore energy sector, including knowledge of relevant regulatory and classification requirements.Prior experience with projects in renewable energy or low-carbon solutions (such .
