Job Summary We are looking for a skilled design engineer with hands-on experience in BLDC motor design and development, particularly for small electric motors and steering motor applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Creo CAD, electric motor sizing and design, detailed engineering drawings, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing process definition. Key Responsibilities Perform electric motor sizing, electromagnetic design, and engineering development for BLDC motors.Design and develop BLDC motors and steering motors for automotive applications.Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and manufacturing documentation using Creo CAD.Perform GD&T and tolerance analysis to ensure design feasibility and product quality.Carry out magnet sizing and design based on motor performance requirements.Define and optimize manufacturing technologies for housings, rotors, stators, and other motor components.Support prototype development, testing, validation, and design improvements.Work closely with manufacturing, testing, and cross-functional engineering teams to resolve design and production issues.Use MKS Adams for mechanical/system-level simulation and analysis where required.Contribute to design reviews, technical documentation, and continuous product improvement.Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience in BLDC motor design and development.Strong understanding of electric motor design principles, sizing, and performance parameters.Experience with small electric motors in the 13 kW range.Experience in automotive steering motors / EPS motor applications is highly desirable.Strong proficiency in Creo CAD for 3D modeling and detailed engineering drawings.Experience with MKS Adams simulation software.Knowledge of magnet selection, sizing, and motor electromagnetic considerations.Good understanding of rotor, stator, housing, shaft, and motor assembly design.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing (DFM).Strong knowledge of tolerance stack-up and engineering drawing practices.Compensation: From 800,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insuranceProvident FundWork from homeExperience: Motor design: 3 years (Required)Creo: 3 years (Required)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bangalore City, Bengaluru, Karnataka .
