This role is part of Amgens growing analytics capability in India and works closely with US-based Commercial and CD&A teams to execute analytical work, generate insights, and support decision-making across the business. The Senior Manager leads a team of analysts, guides analytical approaches, oversees day-to-day delivery, and collaborates frequently with US stakeholders. The role demands strong commercial analytics expertise, hands-on problem solving, and the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights. 1. Performance Analytics & Insight Delivery Lead performance analytics to understand brand drivers, payer/access shifts, promotional impact, field dynamics, and competitive trends. Translate US business questions into structured analytical approaches and apply appropriate methods and datasets. Develop clear, actionable insights that support brand planning, portfolio discussions, and commercial execution. Apply strong US commercial understanding to ensure insights are relevant and strategically grounded. Lead the production, quality, and interpretation of standard performance reports and dashboards (weekly, monthly, quarterly). Own key secondary datasets by understanding data sources, business rules, and caveats, ensuring confidence and accuracy in all outputs. 2. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication Partner with US teams across forecasting, market research, value and access, decision science, and reporting/visualization. Communicate findings clearly, synthesizing complex analysis into concise narratives for US stakeholders. Engage regularly with counterparts to refine requirements, validate assumptions, and align outputs to provide an objective data-driven perspective on performance to senior leadership Proactively identify emerging trends, risks, and performance signals, ensuring timely collaboration with US teams. Maintain consistency in methods, KPI definitions, and analytical standards across CD&A partners. 3. Analytics Execution, Quality & Team Leadership Oversee analytical execution within the team, ensuring accuracy, rigor, and reproducibility. Contribute to automation and productization efforts that reduce manual effort and speed up insights. Support AI-enabled analytics by preparing data, identifying use cases, and partnering on automated outputs. Ensure analytical work adheres to applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance SOPs across internal teams and vendor partners. Lead, coach, and develop analysts, building capability in analytics, interpretation, and communication.
