Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to manage and maintain quality standards across our Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) operations. Key Responsibilities: Ensure consistent quality of concrete as per approved mix designs, IS standards and customer requirements. Monitor incoming raw materials including cement, fly ash, aggregates, sand, admixtures and water. Supervise concrete sampling, slump tests, cube casting, curing and compressive strength testing. Review and optimize mix designs for different grades and special concrete requirements. Monitor batching accuracy, moisture correction, water-cement ratio and admixture dosage. Analyze 7-day and 28-day cube test results and take corrective action in case of deviations. Visit customer sites to investigate quality complaints including cracks, low cube strength, workability and other concrete-related issues. Identify whether quality issues relate to concrete production, transportation, placement, workmanship, curing or site practices and prepare technical observations/reports. Maintain laboratory records, calibration schedules, test reports, mix-design documentation and quality records. Train and supervise lab technicians and plant quality personnel. Coordinate with production, dispatch, sales and site teams to resolve technical issues professionally. Implement preventive and corrective actions to minimize quality complaints and concrete rejection. Ensure compliance with applicable IS standards, QCI/RMC certification and ISO quality procedures . Preferred Candidate: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering with strong experience in RMC/concrete technology and quality control . Candidate should have sound knowledge of mix design, concrete testing, raw-material testing, site troubleshooting and relevant IS codes. .
