Position: SAP GL Consultant (Offshore India) Experience: 6 - 10 Years Notice Period: Can be considered up 15 Days SAP GL Consultant (Offshore India) Location: India (Bangalore/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai) Shift: Offshore with PST overlap Experience: 610 years SAP FI with strong GL expertise Role Summary The SAP GL Consultant will support global finance teams with configuration, issue resolution, enhancements, and monthend close activities across SAP S/4HANA or ECC GL processes. Key Responsibilities Configure and support GL master data, posting rules, validations/substitutions, and financial close processes. Work with Universal Journal (ACDOCA), parallel ledgers, document splitting, and currency types. Provide offshore support for monthend close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Troubleshoot GL posting issues, integration errors, and crossmodule impacts. Prepare functional specs for enhancements and collaborate with ABAP teams. Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and production deployments. Work closely with onsite U.S. teams for daily support and project deliverables. Required Skills Strong SAP FIGL configuration experience. Good understanding of integration with AP, AR, AA, CO, MM, SD. Experience in issue analysis, debugging, and rootcause identification. Excellent communication for onsiteoffshore coordination. .
