What Youll Own As a Python Backend Developer, you will be a key contributor to our core backend services. Key Responsibilities: Design & Build Scalable APIs: Develop high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI and Python, ensuring optimal latency and throughput. Data Modeling & Optimization: Design efficient database schemas in PostgreSQL/MySQL and optimize complex queries using SQLAlchemy or Asyncpg. Ensure Code Quality & Maintainability: Write clean, testable code following SOLID principles, OOP best practices, and PEP8 standards. Conduct peer code reviews to uphold team quality standards. Test-Driven Development (TDD): Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using Pytest to ensure bug-free releases and smooth CI/CD pipelines. Deployment & Observability: Containerize applications using Docker and assist in deploying to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues. Collaborate in Agile Teams: Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver features iteratively in an Agile/Scrum environment. What Were Looking For Experience: 3 - 5 years of professional backend development experience with Python. Framework Expertise: Strong proficiency in FastAPI. Experience with Django/Flask is a plus but not mandatory. Database Skills: Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORM usage (SQLAlchemy). Knowledge of query optimization and indexing is highly valued. API Design: Deep understanding of RESTful architecture, HTTP methods, status codes, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth2/JWT). Tools & Practices: Proficient with Git for version control, comfortable with Linux/Unix environments, and experienced with Pytest for testing. Async Programming: Familiarity with asynchronous programming concepts (asyncio) in Python. AI & LLM Integration (Preferred): Knowledge or handson experience with LangChain and LangGraph is highly useful, particularly for building agentic workflows, managing state in LLM applications, and integrating AI capabilities into backend services. The selection process consists of 34 rounds: HR Screening Round: A conversation to understand your professional background, career goals, and cultural fit within our organization. Practical Coding Test: A hands-on technical assessment focusing on real-world backend problems.
