We are seeking an experienced and results-driven infrastructure manager to lead the design, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our enterprise IT infrastructure. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensure high availability of systems, drive operational excellence, and align infrastructure strategy with business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise combined with strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills. As Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of servers, networks, storage, virtualization platforms, cloud services, and related infrastructure components. You will champion reliability, security, scalability, and cost optimization while fostering a culture of proactive monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, design, deployment, and ongoing management of enterprise IT infrastructure, including on-premises data centers, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of critical systems through robust monitoring, capacity planning, and proactive incident management. Own infrastructure strategy, roadmap development, and technology selection in collaboration with Architecture, Security, and Application teams. Manage and mentor a team of system administrators, network engineers, cloud engineers, and infrastructure specialists; foster skill development and high performance. Oversee virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code practices. Drive automation initiatives using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Implement and maintain robust backup, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity plans; regularly test and refine recovery procedures. Collaborate with Security teams to enforce infrastructure security best practices, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and compliance with relevant standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.). Monitor infrastructure costs, optimize cloud spend, and implement FinOps practices for efficient resource utilization. Manage vendor relationships, hardware/software procurement, licensing, and service-level agreements (SLAs). Lead root-cause analysis for major incidents and drive permanent corrective actions. Stay current with emerging technologies (edge computing, zero-trust networking, AI-assisted operations) and evaluate their potential value to the organization. Prepare and present infrastructure status reports, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
