Role Description The MAC Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for administering, supporting, and optimizing Apple macOS devices across the organization. In this role, the MAC Engineer will manage deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Mac systems, including operating system upgrades, security patches, and software installations. The role involves handling user support requests, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring endpoint security and compliance with company standards. The MAC Engineer will collaborate with IT infrastructure, security, and application teams to integrate Mac systems into broader network and directory services. The role may also include documenting procedures, improving automation for device management, and contributing to continuous improvement of the end-user computing environment. Qualifications Strong macOS administration skills, including installation, configuration, upgrade management, and system troubleshooting.Experience with enterprise Apple device management tools (such as Jamf, Intune, or similar MDM/EMM platforms) for deployment, policy enforcement, and inventory.Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi), VPN configuration, and integration of Mac systems into directory services (such as Active Directory or Azure AD).Familiarity with endpoint security practices, including encryption, antimalware, patch management, and compliance with ISO or similar standards.Ability to automate routine tasks using scripting and to document procedures and configurations clearly.Strong customer support mindset with experience in IT service desk or end-user support, including ticket handling and remote/onsite assistance.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional IT and business teams.Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; relevant Apple or IT certifications are an advantage .
