We are looking for a Quality Engineer with experience in functional testing, system integration testing, and test automation. The candidate will support the validation of MES and manufacturing applications while working closely with onsite stakeholders, developers, integration teams, and offshore delivery teams. Key Responsibilities - Understand business and technical requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases. - Execute functional, System Integration Testing, regression, API, UI, database, and end-to-end testing. - Validate MES workflows, manufacturing-system interfaces, business rules, and system integrations. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#. - Perform API testing and backend data validation using suitable tools and SQL queries. - Support testing using simulators, stubs, mock services, and test harnesses when dependent systems or equipment are unavailable. - Use AI-assisted testing tools to generate and optimize test cases, test data, and automation scripts. - Log, track, retest, and close defects in coordination with development and integration teams. - Analyze test failures and support root-cause identification. - Execute regression suites and support automation integration with CI/CD pipelines. - Prepare test execution reports, defect summaries, and daily status updates. - Support UAT, deployment validation, release-readiness activities, and post-production verification. - Coordinate effectively with onsite and offshore project teams. Required Skills - 4-6 years of experience in software testing and quality engineering. - Hands-on experience in functional, integration, regression, API, and database testing. - Experience with Playwright using TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#. - Positive understanding of test case design, defect management, and software testing life cycle. - Experience in API testing tools and SQL-based database validation. - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and aut .
