Description Position Title: SDET (Quality Engineering) Position: Jefferies is seeking an SDET for Middle and Back Office application suites to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks. You will support BDD testing across .NET, Java, and Python systems by partnering with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria, write Gherkin scenarios, and automate functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests Primary Responsibilities: Build and maintain robust test automation frameworks - functional, regression, system, and integration testing for UI, API, and backend systems. Develop and enhance test plans, test cases, and develop automated test scripts using tools like Playwright, Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc. Ability to work with development team and DevOps engineers to develop a priority list of manual test cases where targeted automation would most perk the Quality Engineering process by allowing more focus on unit testing development and automated integration and regression with DevOps methodology. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo or GitHub Actions. Participate in Agile ceremoniessprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. Contribute to performance and security testing initiatives. Participate in code reviews and ensure testability of the codebase. Maintain traceability between requirements, scenarios, test results, and defects.
