About the Role We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser to manage the complete product merchandising lifecycle, from product development and sampling to order execution and timely deliveries. The ideal candidate should possess strong vendor coordination skills, commercial acumen, and experience in handling home furnishing, rugs, textiles, handicrafts, or lifestyle products. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end merchandising process from inquiry to final order execution.Coordinate with buyers, design, production, sourcing, planning, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.Develop and maintain the merchandising calendar to ensure timely deliveries.Follow up on product sampling, approvals, and customer feedback.Prepare costing sheets and ensure product pricing aligns with company margins.Track production status and proactively resolve any delays or issues.Coordinate with vendors and artisans to ensure quality standards and delivery timelines are met.Monitor inventory requirements and material availability.Ensure all customer specifications, packaging requirements, labeling, and compliance standards are followed.Prepare and maintain merchandising reports, order trackers, and production updates.Work closely with the sourcing and procurement teams for raw material planning.Support new product development initiatives by coordinating with design and manufacturing teams.Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Textile, Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.38 years of merchandising experience in Rugs, Home Furnishing, Textiles, Handicrafts, Furniture, Luxury Home Dcor, or Lifestyle brands.Strong understanding of product development, costing, production planning, and vendor management.Excellent coordination and communication skills.Good analytical and negotiation abilities.Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Strong proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. .
