We are looking for a Lead Engineer to own the architecture and evolution of our Platform the distributed systems and AI/ML infrastructure that power every product surface. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You will lead a team of engineers, set the technical direction across distributed systems and AI/ML platforms, and write production code for the most critical components yourself. Run design reviews, raise the engineering bar on code quality, observability, and on-call practices, and partner with product and business on roadmap.Hands-on design and development of high-throughput, fault-tolerant distributed services in Java, Go, and Python.Drive adoption of AI/ML models and intelligent systems within the product architecture collaborating with data and ML teams to deploy and scale AI-powered capabilities.Define engineering standards, architectural patterns, and best practices across the platform.Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with cross-functional teams.Conduct system performance analysis and drive reliability improvements across the platform.
