Wealth Product Manager

Role Overview: We are looking for a Wealth Product Manager who sits at the intersection of regulatory depth, technology delivery, and AI-driven innovation. You will own the product lifecycle for wealth management platforms from ideation through delivery ensuring products are compliant, scalable, and AI-augmented. You will partner with Engineering, Compliance, Business, and ecosystem partners including AMCs, RTAs, exchanges, and regulators. Key Responsibilities : - Own end-to-end product definition, roadmap, and delivery for wealth management platforms including MF, equity, bonds, NPS, insurance, and PMS products. - Translate regulatory requirements from SEBI, AMFI, BSE/NSE, KRA, IRDAI, PFRDA, and RBI into product specifications and engineering deliverables. - Drive AI-first product thinking: identify use cases for GenAI, recommendation engines, intelligent onboarding, AI advisory, and portfolio analytics. - Partner with Engineering to define APIs, data models, and integration specs for BSE StarMF, NSE NMF-II, CAMS, KFintech, Digilocker, CKYC, Account Aggregator, UPI, and NACH. - Manage the complete KYC lifecycle product: V-CIP, CKYC/CERSI, PAN, Aadhaar, eSign in compliance with SEBI KYC norms and AMFI guidelines. - Define and track product KPIs: activation rates, STP %, API success rates, regulatory audit outcomes, and AI feature adoption. - Own PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation; run sprint reviews and drive cross-functional alignment. - Stay ahead of regulatory circulars (SEBI, AMFI, BSE, IRDAI) and proactively incorporate changes into the product roadmap. - Engage with AMFI, BSE, NSE, and AMC tech teams for integration certification and new product launches. Required Qualifications: - 5-10 years of product management experience in fintech, wealth management, or financial services technology. - Deep knowledge of Indian wealth management regulatory ecosystem: SEBI investment adviser regulations, AMFI distributor norms, KYC/KRA requirements, NPS CRA guidelines, IRDAI insurance distribution norms. - Strong understanding of wealth tech stack: BSE StarMF / NSE NMF-II, CAMS/KFintech RTAs, Account Aggregator framework, UPI, NACH, Digilocker. - Demonstrated experience delivering tech products in regulated environments not just business/ops PM experience. - Familiarity with AI/ML product concepts: recommendation systems, GenAI assistants, RAG pipelines, NLP for financial data. - Strong analytical approach to product decisions; comfortable with SQL and dashboarding tools. - MBA / engineering graduate from a reputed institution. Good to Have: - NISM certifications (Series V-A, X-A, or equivalent). - Experience with LLM-based product features AI advisors, intelligent search, portfolio insights. - Prior experience at a wealth-tech startup, AMC, or SEBI-registered investment adviser. AI Expectations: - Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) daily for PRDs, competitive research, and spec drafting. - Define AI product use cases with measurable business outcomes, not just technology experiments. - Collaborate with Engineering on prompt design, RAG architecture review, and AI quality evaluation. - Champion Responsible AI: fairness, explainability, and regulatory compliance in AI-powered financial products. .
