The team manages a global data center footprint of over 12megawatts of power, 12 colocation data centers, 10 on-prem data centers, andover 50,000 servers. What Youll Be Doing Design,configure, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot production network infrastructureand associated services. Designand implement network security standards and access controls following NISTframeworks. Developand implement network security policies and procedures. Designand implement campus and data center macro- and micro-segmentation policies. Utilizeautomation tools and scripts to standardize deployment configurations andenvironments. Monitorand analyze networks for potential security threats and vulnerabilities. Managenetwork security infrastructure including SASE, firewalls, VPNs, and ZTAsolutions. Helpmaintain and advance Zero Trust Architecture adoption. Developand enforce best-practice security standards, compliance, and governance. Conductexternal and internal security audits and assessments to identify potentialrisks and vulnerabilities in the network infrastructure, adhering toindustry-standard cybersecurity frameworks. Generalknowledge of NIST, CIS Benchmark, and/or STIG security frameworks. Strongexperience with zero-day mitigation and remediation. Experiencewith MFA, SSO, and SAML deployment. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
