Location: Athirappilly, Thrissur, Kerala Industry: Amusement Park, Snow Storm, Resort & Tourism Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 37 Years Job Summary We are looking for a technically competent and responsible Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering & Maintenance team for our Amusement Park, Snow Storm and Resort operations at Athirappilly, Thrissur, Kerala. The selected candidate will be responsible for the operation, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring safe, reliable and uninterrupted power supply and operation of the facilities. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day electrical engineering and maintenance activities across the facility.Monitor electrical systems, equipment and installations to ensure safe and reliable operation.Conduct regular inspection of electrical panels, distribution systems, cables, switchgear, lighting and other electrical equipment.Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.Attend to electrical breakdowns and carry out troubleshooting and rectification.Monitor power distribution systems, electrical loads and equipment performance.Ensure proper operation and maintenance of LT panels, MCC panels, DBs, transformers, generators, UPS systems and other electrical installations, as applicable.Monitor and maintain electrical systems associated with amusement-park equipment and other operational facilities.Ensure proper functioning of lighting systems, emergency lighting and other electrical services.Coordinate with Mechanical, Instrumentation, MEP and Operations teams for integrated maintenance activities.Identify electrical faults, abnormal conditions and safety hazards and take immediate corrective action.Maintain records of inspections, preventive maintenance, breakdowns and corrective actions.Ensure availability of critical electrical spares, tools and consumables.Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized electrical maintenance and servicing.Assist in installation, testing, commissioning and handover of new electrical equipment and systems.Support emergency breakdown response and restoration of electrical systems.Ensure proper electrical isolation and safety procedures before maintenance work.Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, SOPs and statutory requirements.Assist in maintaining electrical safety documentation, inspection records and maintenance reports.Support energy-efficiency initiatives and identify opportunities to reduce electrical consumption.Provide technical guidance to electricians and electrical maintenance technicians.Supervise and monitor the work of electrical technicians and contract manpower.Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions in electrical rooms and maintenance areas.Coordinate with management and other departments to minimize operational downtime.Perform other engineering and maintenance duties assigned by the Senior Electrical Engineer / Engineering Manager.Qualification Required B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience may also be considered.Additional technical certifications will be an advantage.Experience Required 37 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering / Maintenance.Experience in Amusement Parks, Theme Parks, Snow Parks, Resorts, Hotels, Hospitality, Industrial Facilities or similar operations will be preferred.Hands-on experience in electrical preventive and breakdown maintenance is essential.Experience in power distribution, electrical panels, generators, transformers, motors, lighting and control systems will be an advantage.Key Skills Electrical Engineering & MaintenancePreventive MaintenanceBreakdown MaintenanceElectrical TroubleshootingPower DistributionElectrical SafetyLT Panels / MCC / DBGenerator & UPS SystemsElectrical Load ManagementEquipment InspectionVendor CoordinationSpare Parts ManagementTechnical DocumentationMS Office / ExcelTeam Leadership & CoordinationProblem SolvingCandidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a technically sound, disciplined and safety-conscious Electrical Engineer with strong hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting capabilities.
