As a candidate for the role at Ginni International Limited, you will be responsible for leading and managing the overall engineering, maintenance, utilities, energy optimization, and technical infrastructure of the manufacturing unit covering Spinning, Weaving, and Denim. Your main focus will be on ensuring maximum equipment uptime, operational efficiency, safety compliance, cost optimization, and sustainable manufacturing practices. Key Responsibilities: - Plant Maintenance - Lead preventive, predictive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance across manufacturing operations including Spinning, Weaving, and Processing units. - Ensure high machine availability, reliability, and optimum plant uptime. - Develop and implement maintenance KPIs, SOPs, checklists, and reliability improvement initiatives. - Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and failure reduction programs. - Utilities & Energy Management - Responsible for efficient operation, optimization, and maintenance of utilities including: - Boiler systems - Air Compressors - Humidification Systems - DG Sets & Electrical Distribution - Chillers / HVAC Systems - Water & Utility Networks - Drive specific energy consumption reduction, power, fuel, steam, compressed air, and water optimization. - Conduct energy audits and cost-saving projects. - Benchmark utility efficiency and monitor performance. - ETP / Sustainability / Environment Management - Ensure effective functioning and maintenance of ETP/STP systems. - Drive compliance with environmental norms and pollution control requirements. - Optimize water treatment, chemical usage, recycling, and resource efficiency initiatives. - Support sustainability, ESG, and green manufacturing initiatives. - Safety & Statutory Compliance - Ensure engineering and utility operations comply with statutory, electrical, boiler, factory, and environmental regulations. - Implement engineering safety standards, LOTO practices, permit systems, risk assessments, and incident prevention. - Lead audits related to safety, fire systems, electrical safety, and engineering compliance. - Continuous Improvement & Cost Optimization - Identify opportunities for energy reduction, maintenance cost optimization, utility consumption control, process improvement, and asset life enhancement. - Drive TPM, Lean, Kaizen, and Reliability Excellence initiatives. - Support capex projects, automation, modernization, and technical upgrades. - Team Leadership & Capability Building - Lead and mentor maintenance, utilities, electrical, boiler, and engineering teams. - Develop technical capability, mentoring, and performance culture within the engineering function. - Ensure manpower planning, contractor management, and vendor coordination. - Project & Technical Excellence - Lead installation, commissioning, expansion, and modernization projects. - Support new technology evaluation, engineering innovations, and digital maintenance practices. - Coordinate with Production, Quality, Safety, SCM, and Plant Leadership teams. Desired Candidate Profile: - Education - B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering. - Additional certifications in Energy Management / Boiler Operations / Safety preferred. - Experience - 1525 years of relevant experience in large textile manufacturing environments. - Mandatory exposure to Spinning / Weaving / Processing Mills. - Solid hands-on experience in Utilities, Plant Maintenance, ETP/STP, Energy Optimization, and Safety Compliance. - Key Competencies - Maintenance Strategy & Reliability Engineering - Energy Management & Cost Optimization - Textile Manufacturing Utilities Expertise - Safety & Statutory Compliance - Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving .
