Project description Product verification & testing for Data Center routing & switching platforms - Major Enterprise Networking equipment provider Responsibilities o Work closely with development engineering, product management, and customer solution engineering team to test and validate feature functionality and system test profiles for data center networks, network security and routing technologies. o Develop test strategy, test topology and test plan to validate the features end-to-end at scale with network security considerations o Understand various customer deployments and solutions across data center networks, security, routing and switching and validate customer profiles o Execute test cases and validate the various features and document the test results on interoperability and customer deployment scenarios o Collaborate with development team to translate software requirements into high-quality test automation suites o Debug and troubleshoot complex issues and work closely with the engineering team on the failures and validate the fixes o Develop automation for the end-to-end solution validation and integrate the automation for seamless validation o Review customer deployments and customer found issues and address any gaps in the test coverage o Involve in customer deployments and customer escalations and help the customers to deploy Client's solutions in their environment SKILLS Must have o Minimum of B.S./B.E./B.Tech in CS/EE/ECE/IT o 4+ years of relevant industry experience in Networking/Telecom- Embedded/Network Management with hands-on experience in functional, system test and automation o Proven technical knowledge and experience in testing Data Center Network platforms o Proven technical knowledge and experience in Data Center Network - IP Fabric, VxLAN EVPN, Network Virtualization Framework o Proven technical knowledge and experience in Network Security and Routing Protocols (MPLS, ISIS, BGP, Multicast) o Proven knowledge and hands-on experience in test plan development and validating scalable data center network and network security solutions o Experience in planning and building large scaled system test topologies with detailed knowledge of test automation tools and software test tools (Spirent, IXIA) and virtualization platforms such as VMware (vCenter, NSX), OpenStack and Linux OS variants such as Ubuntu, CentOS, KVM o Hands-on experience in developing test automation suites using Python or a similar scripting language o Ability to develop and publish solution validation document and test reports o Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization: Product Management, Technical Marketing, Field Sales, TAC, Documentation and Development Team o Highly motivated and self-driven o Able to collaborate cross-functionally to meet challenging goals Nice to have Experience in Test Automation Framework. .
