Job Title: Test Engineer / Test Engineer (Selenium) Location: Delhi Experience: 3+ Years Qualification - MCA or B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology. - Minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.5/10 from a reputed institution. Job Summary Advantal Technologies is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer (Selenium) with 3+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Selenium automation, manual testing methodologies, API testing, defect management, and Agile development practices. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality by designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans and automated test suites. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver. - Perform manual testing, including functional and non-functional testing, to validate application quality. - Execute API testing using tools such as Postman or equivalent. - Identify, document, track, and verify defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA, MantisBT, or JTrac. - Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements. - Perform regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and system testing. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve defects. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. - Ensure adherence to SDLC and STLC processes and testing best practices. - Prepare test execution reports and maintain testing documentation. Required Technical Skills - Selenium WebDriver - Java - JUnit / TestNG - Manual Testing - Functional Testing - Non-Functional Testing - API Testing (Postman or equivalent) - Regression Testing - Smoke & Sanity Testing - Security Testing (Basic Understanding) - JIRA / MantisBT / JTrac - SDLC & STLC - Agile/Scrum Methodology Required Experience - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in software testing. - Strong experience in Selenium automation testing. - Experience in manual testing across web applications. - Experience in API testing and defect lifecycle management. - Ability to analyze requirements and create effective test cases. - Good understanding of software quality assurance principles and testing methodologies.
