Job Summary We are looking for a Field Support Engineer to provide onsite IT support to end users and resolve hardware, software, and basic networking issues. The candidate should have hands-on experience in laptop/desktop troubleshooting and hardware replacement and should be comfortable travelling to client locations. Key Responsibilities Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues. Perform laptop/desktop repair and troubleshooting. Replace and troubleshoot hardware components such as RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, keyboard, battery, adapter, etc. Install and configure Windows 10/11 and required applications. Troubleshoot MS Office, Outlook, email, and user-related issues. Perform basic LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP troubleshooting. Install and configure printers and other peripherals. Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair and replacement. Maintain proper records of IT assets, spare parts, and service activities. Update and close tickets within defined SLA timelines. Travel to different customer/client locations as required. Provide professional and timely support to end users. Required Skills 6 months3 years of experience in Field Support / Desktop Support / IT Support. Strong hands-on knowledge of laptop and desktop hardware troubleshooting. Knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office. Basic networking knowledge. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and customer-handling skills.
