Job Description Role Title: Lead - HR Transformation Reporting To: Head- COE HR Technology Indirect Reporting: CIO & CHRO Initial Location of Posting: Corporate Office, Vadodara Position Overview: To build, stabilize, and continuously enhance the HR Technology ecosystem across the organization by driving digital transformation, system integration, and data-led decision-making. The role is accountable for creating a unified, scalable, and future-ready HR tech landscape that supports workforce lifecycle management, improves employee experience, strengthens governance, and enables leadership insights. It will act as the bridge between HR, IT, Finance, and Business, ensuring that technology investments translate into measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: 1. HR Technology Strategy & Roadmap Define and drive a 35-year HR Technology roadmap aligned with business growth, workforce scale, and digital prioritiesEstablish a unified HR systems architecture integrating HRMS, LMS, CLMS, Payroll, ERP, and other platformsEvaluate emerging technologies including AI, agentic workflows, automation tools, and analytics platforms2. Application Ownership & Governance Own end-to-end lifecycle of HR applications: HRMS, LMS, CLMS, Payroll, DMS, and analytics toolsEnsure system stability, uptime, data integrity, and security complianceDefine governance frameworks, SOPs, and audit mechanisms across HR systems3. Digital Transformation & Automation Identify and implement automation opportunities across HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and separationLead digitization initiatives to eliminate manual dependencies and improve process efficiencyDrive adoption of AI-led interventions including chatbots, predictive analytics, and decision support tools4. Integration & Architecture Ensure seamless integration between HR systems and enterprise platforms like ERP, Finance, and Project systemsWork closely with IT architecture teams on APIs, middleware, and data flow frameworksBuild a single source of truth for HR data5. Vendor & Partner Management Identify, evaluate, and onboard HR technology partners and platformsLead commercial negotiations, contract structuring, and SLA definitionManage vendor performance and ensure delivery against agreed KPIs6. Project Management & Implementation Lead end-to-end implementation of HR technology projects including upgrades, migrations, and new deploymentsEstablish structured project governance, timelines, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communicationEnsure projects are delivered within scope, cost, and timelines7. Data, Analytics & MIS Develop HR analytics capability including dashboards, predictive insights, and leadership MISEnable data-driven decision-making for workforce planning, attrition, productivity, and cost optimizationStandardize reporting frameworks across entities8. Adoption & Change Management Drive user adoption through structured change management, training, and communicationCollaborate with HR leadership to embed digital ways of workingMonitor utilization and continuously improve user experience9. In-house Development & Innovation Build capability for internal development of HR tools and workflows where requiredEncourage experimentation and pilots for new technologiesWork with cross-functional teams to co-create solutions Key Deliverables Integrated HR Technology landscape across all group entitiesReduction in manual HR processes and cycle time improvementsHigh system adoption rates across employee lifecycle processesRobust HR dashboards and analytics for leadership reviewSuccessful implementation of new systems / upgrades within defined timelinesVendor ecosystem delivering measurable value and cost efficiencyStandardized HR data architecture with high accuracy and governance Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in engineering / technology / computer science or equivalentMBA / PGDM (HR or Systems) preferredCertifications in HRMS platforms, or Analytics will be an advantage Experience: 0710 years of experience with at least 5 years in HR Technology, HRMS implementation, or enterprise applicationsExperience in large manufacturing, engineering, or multi-entity organizations preferredProven track record in implementing and managing HR tech platforms at scaleExposure to digital transformation, automation, and analytics initiativesStrong experience in vendor management and commercial negotiations Technical Competencies/Skills: Strong understanding of HRMS platforms (e.g., Darwinbox, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM)Knowledge of LMS, CLMS, Payroll systems, and Document Management SystemsExpertise in system integration (APIs, middleware, ERP integration)Experience in data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel)Understanding of AI/ML applications in HR and workflow automation toolsFamiliarity with cloud platforms and enterprise architecture frameworks Behavioural .
