Role & responsibilities Roles & Responsibilities Billing Executive Prepare client invoices, bills, and payment statements based on project progress. Prepare and verify contractor and vendor bills. Check BOQ, work quantities, measurements, and rates before billing. Coordinate with the site team to collect measurements and work-progress details. Prepare Running Account (RA) Bills and final bills as required. Verify supporting documents such as measurement sheets, work orders, purchase orders, and delivery challans. Maintain proper records of invoices, bills, receipts, and payments. Coordinate with the Accounts/Finance team for invoice processing and payment entries. Follow up with clients for pending payments and outstanding invoices. Check billing calculations, taxes, discounts, deductions, and applicable GST/TDS. Prepare project-wise billing and outstanding reports. Identify billing discrepancies and coordinate with the concerned team for corrections. Maintain proper documentation and filing of all billing-related records. Assist in preparing cost and project billing summaries. Ensure billing is completed accurately and within the required timelines. Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams regarding billing-related queries. Preferred candidate profile Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 1-4 years of experience in Billing, Accounts, or Commercial Operations, preferably in an Interior Design, Construction, or Real Estate company. Good knowledge of billing processes, BOQ, Tendering, measurements, and quantity calculations. Experience in preparing client invoices, contractor/vendor bills, RA bills, and final bills. Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes. Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally/ERP. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations. Good English communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, contractors, site teams, and the accounts department. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet billing deadlines. Candidates with experience in Interior Design/Construction project billing will be preferred. .
