Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Air Conditioning Engineer role based in Kolkata. The Air Conditioning Engineer is responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Daily tasks include diagnosing and repairing system faults, performing preventive maintenance, optimizing system performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and building standards. The role involves inspecting equipment, monitoring system operations, preparing service reports, and coordinating with other building services and facility teams. The engineer will also support improvements in energy efficiency, respond to service calls, and provide technical guidance to clients and colleagues as needed. Qualifications Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair.Experience in building maintenance and building services, with an understanding of integrated building systems.Background in facility management (FM) and maintenance & repair activities for mechanical and electrical equipment.Relevant technical qualification or diploma/degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC engineering.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and building specifications.Familiarity with safety standards, local regulations, and energy efficiency best practices.Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team on-site.Good communication skills for interacting with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.Prior experience in similar on-site engineering or building services roles in Kolkata or comparable urban environments is an advantage. .
