WSP is looking for Candidate who should hold experience minimum of 15+ years on Structures engineering including design & development on RCC and Steel structures of Transport and infrastructure projects along with Chartership from (MIStructE/HKIE(str)) This role is to work as part of a team to support the delivery of projects. This role will be working under the supervision of a Associate or Hongkong team to carry out the following functions. - Analyze and design building structures based on applicable Hong Kong Design Standards and Specifications or equivalent BS EN standards. - Perform structural design, analysis calculations, and prepare design reports for foundations and building structures, including piling foundations, footing foundations, superstructures (both steel and concrete), long-span steel truss structures, footbridges, ELS-associated structures, and temporary works. - Develop and review structural plans and specifications. - Use engineering and design software (e.g., Etabs, SADS, SAP2000, SAFE, Prokon) to create engineering design reports. - Coordinate with other disciplines to provide adequate information for effective project progression. - Lead and supervise junior team members. - Liaise with the Hong Kong office and various stakeholders regarding work specifications. - Degree holder in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline. - Minimum of 15 years of practical experience in structural design for building structures (Infrastructure, plant, and facilities buildings preferred). - Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles, as well as best practices in concrete and steel structural design. - Familiarity with Hong Kong/British/European standards. - Proven work experience as a Building Structural Engineer or in a similar role. - Proficiency in design software (e.g., Etabs, SADS, SAP2000, SAFE, Prokon). - Strong command of written and spoken English. - Chartered Engineer (MIStructE/HKIE(str)) is a must. - A sound understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project is essential - Strong command of written and spoken English. Good management, communication and technical skills and capable of working both within the team and independently, as dictated by workload - Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills. - Proficiency in AutoCAD/BIM software preferred.
