About the internship: METNMAT Innovations Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a mechanical engineering intern with practical knowledge or experience in cold storage, refrigeration system design, and portable cooling box development. The intern will work in an entrepreneurial and innovation-driven environment on design, fabrication, and prototype development of refrigeration-based systems. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Support mechanical design of cold storage and portable refrigeration systems. 2. Work on selection and integration of compressor, evaporator, condenser, insulation, and related components. 3. Assist in designing portable cooling boxes, enclosures, ducts, fixtures, and mounting arrangements. 4. Prepare 3D CAD models, fabrication drawings, and basic BOMs. 5. Coordinate with fabrication and assembly teams for prototype development. 6. Support testing, troubleshooting, and design improvement of refrigeration prototypes. 7. Assist in material selection, insulation integration, and mechanical packaging of the system.
