Backend Engineer In-Office Gurugram, Haryana, India Backend Engineer Gurgaon | Full Time Only immediate joiners or serving notice candidates will be preferred. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend microservices and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks. Contribute to building high-availability, fault-tolerant systems that support core e-commerce business operations. Enhance system observability and debuggability through monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing tools such as Grafana, Loki, and Pinpoint. Develop and execute unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure code reliability and production readiness. Write clean, modular, and maintainable code aligned with software engineering best practices. Continuously optimize backend applications for performance, scalability, and uptime. Participate actively in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning. Solid expertise in Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and JPA/Hibernate. Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases; exposure to NoSQL databases is an added advantage. Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous processing. Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools such as Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Pinpoint, or equivalent. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices Architecture. Working knowledge of messaging systems including Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ. Proficiency with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD workflows. Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills. Strong communication abilities with a collaborative and ownership-driven mindset.
