Area(s) of responsibility Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CSM, Integrations, or other modules as per business needs. Customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Develop and configure ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub. Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via REST, SOAP, APIs, and MID Server. Maintain platform stability, performance, and upgrades including patch management and version upgrades. Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs and user guides. Follow ServiceNow best practices and ensure security and compliance standards are met. Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide ongoing support. Required Skills Experience Hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer (minimum 3+ years). Strong knowledge of ServiceNow core platform features and capabilities. Expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide, Jelly, AngularJS preferred). Experience in at least one or more modules: ITSM, CSM, Integrations Knowledge of integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, web services, LDAP, SSO, etc.). Familiarity with ServiceNow Studio, Update Sets, Flow Designer, Service Portal development. Experience with platform upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Positive understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes. Solid communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) must have. One or more advanced certifications (CIS ITSM, CIS CSM) must have. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology. Exposure to ServiceNow App Engine / custom application development. Soft Skills Solid analytical and logical thinking. Ability to work independently and in teams. Proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement.
