Description This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 700000 - Rs 1600000 (ie INR 7-16 LPA) Experience: 3+ yrs Location: Mumbai Job Type: full-time We are looking for a dynamic Career Development Manager to guide working professionals in identifying the right learning and career advancement opportunities. This role combines consultative counseling, relationship management, and business development, helping individuals achieve their professional goals through executive education and upskilling programs. The ideal candidate will engage with prospective learners, understand their career aspirations, recommend suitable programs, and support them throughout the decision-making journey. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment. Requirements Key Responsibilities - Connect with working professionals to understand their career objectives, learning needs, and professional challenges. - Provide personalized guidance on educational and career development opportunities aligned with individual goals. - Consultatively present relevant executive education and professional certification programs. - Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective learners through regular follow-ups and engagement. - Manage the complete candidate journey, from initial inquiry through enrollment. - Achieve individual enrollment, revenue, and conversion targets while maintaining a high-quality customer experience. - Conduct career counseling sessions through phone, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions when required. - Maintain accurate records of interactions, lead status, and enrollment progress within CRM systems. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and learner support. - Stay informed about industry trends, emerging skills, and professional development opportunities to provide valuable career guidance. - Participate in promotional activities, webinars, events, and outreach initiatives to generate and nurture leads. What Makes You a Great Fit - Experience in career counseling, educational sales, admissions, business development, or customer relationship management. - Strong interest in career development, professional education, and lifelong learning. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to build trust and establish meaningful relationships with working professionals. - Consultative selling approach with a focus on understanding customer needs and delivering value-driven solutions. - Comfortable working in a target-oriented and performance-driven environment. - Strong negotiation, persuasion, and objection-handling abilities. - Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously. - Familiarity with EdTech, higher education, executive education, or professional learning programs is an advantage. - Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced workplace. - Passion for helping individuals achieve their career growth and professional development goals. .
