We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer with 2.5 to 3 years of hands-on Shopify development experience and good backend development experience. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Shopify backend development, APIs, and business logic implementation. Frontend development experience, including theme customization and basic responsive implementation, will be considered an added advantage. Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores based on project requirements.Build custom Shopify features and implement business logic.Work with Shopify Liquid, Admin API, REST API, and Shopify webhooks.Configure and manage Shopify metafields and metaobjects.Integrate third-party apps and APIs when required.Optimize website performance and scalability.Troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing Shopify stores.Work closely with Project Managers, Designers, QA, and other Developers.Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.Provide technical inputs and support effort estimation during task planning.Required Skills 2.53 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development (Backend).Strong knowledge of Liquid, JavaScript, APIs.Experience with Shopify Admin API and REST APIs. Exposure to Storefront API and GraphQL will be considered an advantage.Basic understanding of GraphQL and Storefront API (preferred but not mandatory).Familiarity with Shopify apps (custom and third-party).Good understanding of eCommerce workflows, order management, products, collections, checkout process, and customer lifecycle.Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently as well as with a team.Good to have good verbal and written English communication.Ability to work under guidance from senior developers when required.Willingness to learn and adapt to new Shopify features, tools and workflows.Ability to manage multiple development tasks and priorities effectively.Nice-to-Have Advanced Shopify Liquid development.Responsive Web Design / Pixel-perfect Figma/XD to Shopify implementationLanding Page Development experience.Shopify Plus experienceExperience with AI-assisted development tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.).Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Equivalent practical experience in Shopify development will also be considered.Compensation: 30,000.00 - 50,000.00 per month Work Location: In person .
