The role involves working with customers in the energy and power sector, providing technical consulting, engineering solutions, implementation support, and process optimization. The position requires strong technical expertise in electrical engineering, customer-facing skills, and the ability to support pre-sales, post-sales, training, and implementation activities. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze customer requirements and provide suitable engineering solutions. - Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution discussions with prospects and customers. - Support pre-sales and post-sales activities along with sales teams. - Provide customer onboarding, training, implementation, coaching, and technical support. - Understand customer engineering processes and identify areas for improvement. - Develop industry-specific solutions, proof of concepts (POCs), and benchmark projects. - Study customer needs, pain areas, and create technical specifications. - Provide technical consultation and onsite support to customers. - Support sales teams with technical expertise during customer discussions. - Participate in technical workshops, exhibitions, and customer training programs. - Handle project coordination, specifications, calculations, and risk assessments. Required Skills & Experience: - BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics Engineering. - 5 - 7 years of experience in Electrical Design Engineering, Technical Consulting, Application Engineering, Pre-Sales Engineering, or Product Specialist roles. - Mandatory hands-on experience with EPLAN Electric P8 or EPLAN Platform. - Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering, Power, and Energy domains. - Good understanding of electrical design, engineering processes, and documentation. - Experience with Electrical CAD / E-CAD / CAE tools such as: - AutoCAD Electrical - ETAP - E3 - SEE Electrical - Any equivalent electrical design software - Experience in power, energy, process plants, or instrumentation projects is preferred. - Knowledge of 3D CAD software is an added advantage. - Solid communication, presentation, networking, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work with customers and cross-functional teams. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of VB / .NET / C# and CAD APIs is desirable. - Experience working with international customers or engineering projects. - Ability to understand customer business requirements and convert them into technical solutions. Travel Requirement: - This role involves extensive travel to customer locations for onsite consultations, technical discussions, product demonstrations, implementation support, training, and customer engagements across different locations. - Candidates should be comfortable with regular travel as part of the role.
