API & Backend Development: Build, maintain, and secure fast REST API endpoints (using modern Python frameworks like FastAPI) to serve intelligent features to our client applications. 2. Data Wrangling & Pipelines: Develop scripts and pipelines to extract, clean, and normalize messy, unstructured data so it can be efficiently queried in our relational databases. 3. Applied AI & Prompt Engineering: Integrate LLM APIs into production workflows, optimizing prompts for reliable data extraction, summarization, and classification. 4. Algorithm Tuning: Work alongside senior engineers to iterate on search and matching engines, tweaking keyword weighting, scoring logic, and filtering. 5. Debugging & Problem Solving: Trace complex data flow issues across the stack, ensuring that our integrations are robust and fail gracefully. Experience & Qualification 1. 1-2 years of software engineering experience, ideally in a product-focused or startup setting. 2. Strong Python skills: You write clean, maintainable code and have experience with modern backend frameworks. 3. Database Fundamentals: Comfortable writing SQL and working with relational databases (especially PostgreSQL). You arent afraid of complex queries or working with JSON/JSONB data types. 4. AI/ML Basics: Practical experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and a foundational understanding of text embeddings, tokenization, and semantic search.
