Job Description We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer with 8 10 years of relevant experience in enterprise infrastructure administration, virtualization, backup solutions, and production support. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in VMware, Linux/Windows administration, monitoring tools, and incident management in a 24x7 enterprise workplace. Key Responsibilities - Administer and manage VMware ESXi infrastructure, virtual machines, clusters, and storage. - Manage enterprise backup and recovery using NetBackup. - Perform Linux and Windows server administration, including installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. - Monitor infrastructure using Nagios and handle alerts through Opsgenie and PagerDuty. - Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of critical systems. - Configure and execute deployment pipelines using Octopus Deploy and Jenkins. - Support Azure cloud infrastructure and assist in cloud operations. - Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure stability and service availability. - Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. - Participate in shift-based support and handle critical production incidents.
