As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test in our Engineering Revenue Platform division, you will design, develop, and optimize automated testing solutions that ensure the quality, scalability, and performance of our Sales/CS technology stack. Youll focus on backend and data-driven testing strategies, ensuring seamless platform integrations and reliable business workflows. In this role, youll partner with stakeholders to understand requirements, define test strategies, and implement automation frameworks that drive efficiency, accuracy, and speed of delivery. You will leverage your expertise in modern test practices, data validation, and API testing to build solutions that support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. You will play a key role in validating end-to-end processes across quote-to-cash, billing, revenue modeling, pricing, commissions, deal execution, and payment collection, integrating with external systems such as Oracle, Informatica, Salesforce, Sidetrade, and Stripe. With a focus on future-ready solutions, you will also contribute to AI-powered testing initiatives and guide the team in building AI-driven quality tools. Youll mentor engineers, provide technical leadership, and help shape the testing strategy for our revenue platforms in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will simplify and modernize systems, processes, and tools to ensure our applications are robust, maintainable, and aligned with the companys strategic goals. You are adept at translating the needs of customers, internal finance, sales, and account management teams into clear, testable requirements. You bring strong change management skills and foster transparent communication across stakeholders, ensuring quality remains a shared responsibility throughout the software development lifecycle. Primary Job Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools for revenue platforms, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable test code Implement robust backend, API, and data validation tests to ensure adherence to best practices and functional accuracy Validate the health, performance, and integration of Salesforce and related systems across Sales, and CS including Snowflake, and Workato Lead automation and quality initiatives to improve system performance, scalability, and stability through comprehensive regression, performance, and integration testing Champion best practices in automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native quality solutions Mentor engineers in test design, automation strategies, and quality mindset, driving technical excellence across the team Partner with Product, EMs, and Sales/CS teams to translate complex business requirements into effective test strategies and automation solutions Collaborate to align quality objectives and test priorities with broader company goals Ensure accuracy in test coverage and alignment with performance, reliability, and security benchmarks Identify and address defects and bottlenecks early in the development cycle to maintain project timelines and quality standards Evaluate and implement emerging testing tools, frameworks, and practices to maintain a cutting-edge revenue technology stack Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation and innovation in testing methodologies Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested Skills and Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 7+ years of experience in Software development or testing role with deep knowledge of test automation, integration testing, and testing across integrated systems including Salesforce, Snowflake, and Workato amongst others Expert-level proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for building robust automated test frameworks and backend test utilities Strong understanding of the Salesforce AI ecosystem, including Agentforce 3 and AI agents, with experience applying AI-driven testing and validation Solid .
