Sales Executive- Solar Modules Also referred to internally as: Solar Champion - Field Sales Department: Sales & Marketing Location: Pan India (multiple territories) Employee Type: Fixed Term Employment for 2 Years Role Purpose The Sales Executive will be responsible for supporting distributors in driving secondary sales by engaging the installers/system integrators (SIs) and driving improved ways of working and loyalty with the installers/ SIs in the assigned territory. Key Responsibilities Installer / SI Engagement - Identify, onboard and engage installers and system integrators (SIs) in the assigned territory - Build and maintain regular relationships with the installers/ SIs to keep them active and productive - Drive adoption of loyalty programs Distributor Sales - Support distributors in driving their secondary sales of solar modules - Working closely with distributor's sales teams, conducting market visits, and driving on-ground execution Servicing & Execution - Ensure smooth order execution, delivery and on-ground support for installers - Coordinate resolution of installer/ SI issues Market & Field Activities - Support marketing team with driving Installer/ SI engagement activities (e.g. meets) - Provide market feedback on competitor activity, pricing and demand trends Reporting - Maintain daily call / visit reports and sales data in the sales app - Track installer activity and secondary sales Candidate Requirements Educational Qualifications - Graduate in any discipline Experience & Skills - 1-3 years of field sales experience in solar or related industry (e.g. electrical goods, inverter / battery, etc.) - Solar product knowledge (modules, kW sizing, net metering, subsidy schemes) preferred - Positive communication and negotiation skills - Daily field discipline and relationship-building skills - Local language fluency and good hyperlocal market knowledge - Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory - Comfort using a smartphone-based sales / order app for daily reporting Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
