We are looking for someone who enjoys selling, is commercially minded and takes ownership of building customer relationships. The ideal candidate should be comfortable speaking with customers, identifying opportunities and creating business from the ground up. You don't need prior experience in the fragrance industrybut you should have the curiosity and aptitude to quickly learn technical products and confidently sell them. This is primarily a customer-facing sales and business development role. Your primary objective will be to grow sales of our bulk volume, commodity and speciality product portfolio by developing new customers, expanding existing accounts and building long-term commercial relationships. You will spend the majority of your time prospecting, meeting customers, understanding their product requirements, negotiating commercial terms and converting opportunities into long-term business. Along the way, you will develop a deep understanding of aroma chemicals, essential oils, perfumery ingredients and the industries that use them. Responsibilities: - Identify, approach and develop new B2B customers across the fragrance, flavour, FMCG, pharmaceutical and speciality chemical industries. - Generate new business through customer visits, cold calling, email outreach, networking and industry referrals. - Build and maintain strong relationships with purchasing teams, R&D; personnel and commercial decision makers. - Promote and sell our portfolio of aroma chemicals, essential oils and speciality raw materials. - Understand customer applications and recommend suitable products from our portfolio. - Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales opportunities. - Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation through to order confirmation. - Monitor market trends, competitor activity and pricing movements to identify recent business opportunities. - Work closely with management to develop sales strategies and identify high-growth product categories. - Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of customer orders. - Maintain accurate customer records, sales pipelines and business development activities. Desired profile: - 2-5 years of B2B sales or business development experience. - Experience selling industrial products, speciality chemicals, raw materials, ingredients, additives, pharmaceuticals, food ingredients, pigments, coatings or similar B2B products will be highly preferred. - Strong business development and customer acquisition skills. - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. - Commercially aware with the ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products. - Comfortable travelling locally to meet customers across Mumbai and surrounding industrial areas. - Self-motivated, proactive and target-driven. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - A collaborative team player with a willingness to learn and grow. .
