We design and deliver intelligent, end-to-end automation systems that integrate PLCs, robotics, and AI-driven vision solutions for modern manufacturing environments. Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Automation Architect / Lead with strong expertise in PLCSCADAVision integrated systems for SPM machines. This role is critical in defining system architecture and driving full lifecycle delivery from design and integration to commissioningwhile acting as a bridge between AI/vision teams and control system engineering . Key Responsibilities 1. Automation System Architecture Design end-to-end architectures for PLC, SCADA, robotics, and AI vision systems Develop scalable control systems using Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP Define data interfaces between AI/vision systems and PLCs 2. PLC & Control Systems Engineering Develop modular PLC programs (IEC 61131-3: ST, LD, FBD) Build reusable function block libraries Lead PLCvision integration and ensure fail-safe architectures 3. System Integration & Testing Drive FAT/SAT execution , debugging, and system validation Design simulation environments (digital twins / HIL setups) Oversee I/O validation, calibration, and performance testing 4. Vendor & Technology Management Evaluate and manage vendors (PLCs, drives, sensors, vision systems) Collaborate with OEMs and system integrators Explore next-gen control hardware and protocols 5. Leadership & Execution Lead cross-functional teams (PLC, electrical, AI/vision) Mentor engineers on structured programming and validation Ensure coordination across mechanical, electrical, and software teams 6. Documentation & Compliance Maintain system architecture, validation, and test documentation Ensure compliance with ISO 13849, IEC 60204 Maintain traceability across design and execution lifecycle Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) System architecture & integration delivery FAT/SAT timelines & quality PLCVision integration reliability System uptime & response latency Vendor efficiency & cost adherence Documentation & compliance accuracy Qualifications B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics1015 years of experience in industrial automation / SPM systemsProven experience in PLCVisionSCADA integrationRequired Skills PLC Programming: Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff SCADA/HMI: WinCC, Wonderware, Indusoft Industrial Protocols: Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, OPC-UA Robotics & Motion Control Integration Programming: C/C++ or Python (preferred) FAT/SAT, troubleshooting, and system validation What We're Looking For Strong system architecture mindset Deep understanding of control systems + AI integration Proven leadership in cross-domain engineering High ownership and strong documentation discipline .
