Job Summary We are hiring for one of our trusted clients headquartered in the United Arab Emirates and are seeking qualified candidates for a remote deployment opportunity. The role involves testing payment processing, wallet transactions, and third-party provider integrations, while validating data integrity across distributed, high-transaction-volume systems. This role can be offered as full-time, part-time, and contractual engagement for remote. Key Responsibilities Design, document, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and backend applications Build and maintain automated test suites for functional and regression testing, with growing ownership of test architecture decisions Test API integrations, particularly around payment processing, wallet transactions, and third-party provider connections Validate data integrity across distributed systems Integrate and maintain tests within CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, ArgoCD) Reproduce, document, and track defects through resolution, working directly with developers (Jira) Participate in performance and load testing efforts for high-transaction-volume systems Support UAT cycles with internal stakeholders and external partners Develop comprehensive test cases and test coverage strategies for new features, including applications built on Temporal workflows and Kubernetes-based microservices. Help maintain compliance with relevant regulatory and security standards Required Skills At least 34 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or test engineering, with expertise in validating high-quality software solutions. Solid understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar) Experience testing RESTful APIs (Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools) Comfortable writing SQL queries for data validation Experience working with Jira and Agile/Scrum development processes Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git/Bitbucket) Good to Have Experience in fintech, payments, or banking domains Exposure to Kubernetes-based environments Experience testing mobile applications built with Flutter, Kotlin, or Swift Familiarity with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, k6, or similar) Awareness of security testing practices for financial systems ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent AI Experience Familiarity with AI-assisted test generation or defect triage tools is a plus Interest in applying AI-assisted tools for test case creation, data synthesis, or reporting Managerial Experience This is an individual contributor role; candidates should demonstrate growing ownership of test architecture decisions and the ability to work directly with developers and cross-functional teams Operational Experience Experience integrating and maintaining automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, ArgoCD) Experience supporting UAT cycles with internal stakeholders and external partners Experience reproducing, documenting, and tracking defects through resolution using Jira Familiarity with maintaining compliance under regulatory and security standards for financial systems Qualifications Bachelor's degree (any discipline) 3 to 8 years of relevant hands-on experience in QA/test engineering Strong ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, partnering seamlessly with distributed teams to achieve project goals and delivery milestones. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
