Job SummaryGlobal MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Build and Release Engineer Jenkins Specialist to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines that support the development and deployment of enterprise-grade applications. You will work closely with software engineers, DevOps teams, and quality assurance professionals to ensure smooth, automated, and reliable build and release processes across multiple environments. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex automation challenges, and has a passion for continuous improvement in software delivery practices. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related tools. Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure faster and more reliable releases. Integrate Jenkins with source control systems (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab) and artifact repositories. Manage and optimize build infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability. Collaborate with development and QA teams to troubleshoot build and deployment issues. Implement best practices for versioning, branching strategies, and release management. Monitor and improve pipeline performance, reliability, and security. Document build and release processes and provide technical guidance to teams. Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security policies. Required Skills and QualificationsStrong experience with Jenkins (pipeline as code, scripted and declarative pipelines). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Groovy. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks. Good knowledge of Git-based version control systems. Experience with Docker and containerized builds. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Understanding of build tools such as Maven, Gradle, Ant, or NPM. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Experience3+ years of experience in Build and Release Engineering, DevOps, or CI/CD roles. Proven experience managing enterprise-level Jenkins environments. Experience working in Agile or DevOps-driven organizations. Prior exposure to large-scale software deployment projects is a plus. Working HoursFull-time position (40 hours per week). Flexible working hours with overlap for global team collaboration. Remote or hybrid work options depending on project requirements. Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC). Ability to manage multiple build pipelines and projects simultaneously.
