Design and Development Design and develop mechanical components, equipment, and Welding Machines using SolidWorks software. Prepare conceptual models in SolidWorks for Welding Machines based on customer requirements. Prepare fabrication and machinery drawings, including SolidWorks drawings of mechanical equipment. Properly interpret design specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Generate production drawings and submittals. 2. Engineering Documentation and Support Create and maintain engineering documentation, such as Bills of Materials (BOM), and assembly instructions. Identify and resolve design-related issues during the development process. Provide technical support to manufacturing teams to ensure successful implementation of designs. 3. Design Review and Analysis Conduct design reviews with project teams to ensure design requirements are met. Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations to evaluate and optimize mechanical designs. Optimize designs for cost, performance, and manufacturability. Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve design and manufacturing issues. skills and key responsibilities 1. Expert in the use of AutoCAD and SolidWorks 2. Good grasp of basic hydraulics and pump selection will be added advantage. 3. Ability to work independently on designing systems/sub-systems. 4. Technical interpretation and evaluation of 3-D solid models prior to 2-D drawing conversion. 7. Ability to interpret designs in terms of manufacturability. 8.
