We are looking for Auditors to join our Malaysia team. You will work closely with our Hong Kong and regional teams, supporting audit engagements for international clients and gaining hands-on exposure to Hong Kong auditing and financial reporting requirements. Work Arrangement The role requires on-site presence during the initial three-month period , subject to performance. Thereafter, a hybrid working arrangement (3-days WFH) is available. Office location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia Key Responsibilities Execute audit engagements in accordance with Hong Kong Standards on Auditing (HKSAs), HKFRS and IFRS. Perform audit fieldwork and prepare audit working papers and supporting documentation. Conduct substantive testing, analytical reviews and assessment of internal controls. Prepare and review financial statements and audit-related reports. Identify audit findings and follow up with clients on outstanding information and audit queries. Liaise directly with clients throughout the audit process and maintain professional client relationships. Coordinate closely with the Hong Kong audit team to ensure engagements are completed accurately and on time. Review junior team members' work and provide guidance where required, depending on experience level. Manage multiple engagements and priorities while meeting reporting deadlines. Keep up to date with relevant accounting standards, auditing requirements and regulatory developments. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of relevant external audit experience , preferably within an accounting or audit practice. Good understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards and IFRS. Experience handling audit engagements and preparing audit working papers. Experience in client communication and managing multiple engagements. Prior experience reviewing or guiding junior auditors would be an advantage. Professional qualification or progress towards ACCA, CPA or equivalent would be an advantage. Good analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills. Proficiency in both Chinese and English is required for communication with clients and regional teams Candidates at different levels of seniority may be considered based on experience and capability Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with regional teams.
