About the Role Are you an aspiring accounting or tax professional looking to gain hands-on experience? KEMM Advisory is looking for passionate Accounting & Tax Interns to join our dynamic team. This internship offers real-world exposure to accounting and tax practices under the guidance of experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities Accounting Intern: Assist in preparing a full set of accounts including General Ledger and financial reports Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting processes Execute accounting functions including journals, accounting entries, and month-end closing Prepare schedules for management, audit, tax, and other purposes Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting Tax Intern: Prepare tax computations for timely submission to tax authorities Monitor corporate and individual tax-related matters and administer submissions of Form CP 204, CP 204A, etc. Liaise with clients and tax officers on tax-related issues Handle tax software to prepare and process tax returns Assist tax seniors in managing job portfolios and compliance matters Requirements Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Commerce, or a related field Please specify your preferred department (Accounting or Tax) in your application Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia Self-motivated, proactive, and a good team player with a positive working attitude Available for a minimum internship period of 3 months What We Offer Monthly allowance of RM 1,500 – RM 1,900 Hands-on experience working on real client projects Mentorship from experienced professionals passionate about knowledge sharing Clear career development pathway and strong foundation for your future career Collaborative and innovative team environment Exposure to a diverse portfolio of 500+ SME clients Potential for full-time employment upon successful completion of internship
