Are you an experienced accountant who enjoys being hands-on, improving processes and guiding a growing finance team? We are seeking a capable and commercially minded Finance & Administration Manager to lead the Finance & Accounts function of a growing EPCC business involved in Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and related infrastructure projects. This is not a purely supervisory position. You will personally manage key financial activities, work closely with senior management and support a junior finance team in strengthening its systems, controls and overall capability. Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting Prepare and finalise monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and cash-flow reports Handle full sets of accounts and maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger Manage month-end and quarter-end closing, including accruals, provisions, prepayments and depreciation Prepare financial analysis, variance reports and clear management commentary Improve the quality and usefulness of financial reporting Project Accounting Monitor project budgets, costs, cash flow and profitability Maintain project and cost-centre accounting structures Prepare and review Work-in-Progress schedules Manage revenue recognition based on project progress, milestones and claims Review progress billings, variation orders, retention sums and project close-outs Support financial monitoring throughout the Defects Liability Period Cash Flow, Banking & Financing Prepare cash-flow forecasts and monitor daily and weekly liquidity Perform or review bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Prioritise payments within a project-based business environment Assess working-capital, loan and trade-facility requirements Liaise directly with banks on overdrafts, trade lines, bank guarantees, letters of credit and facility applications Monitor facility utilisation, covenants, renewals and expiry dates Compliance, Audit & Tax Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements Coordinate statutory audits and respond to routine audit queries Liaise with tax agents and the company secretary Support tax computations, SST matters and statutory filings Participate in ISO documentation, internal audits and continuous-improvement initiatives Stakeholder & Team Management Supervise and coach the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable/Billing team Review team output and strengthen finance processes and discipline Work closely with Sales, Project and Customer Service teams Attend customer meetings when necessary to resolve billing, collection, progress-claim or retention matters Establish finance SOPs, approval limits, controls and segregation of duties Support administrative and other management-directed responsibilities when required Requirements Degree in Accounting is compulsory Between 8 and 16 years of accounting experience Strong hands-on experience managing a full set of accounts Solid understanding of management reporting, cash flow, bank reconciliation and statutory compliance Experience in project accounting, construction, engineering, EPCC or renewable energy would be highly advantageous Experience dealing with banks on trade facilities, loans or working-capital arrangements is preferred Comfortable supervising and developing junior finance team members Willing to assist with administrative responsibilities when required
