This role is responsible for ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant execution of key finance processes, including Accounts Payable (AP), Travel & Expense (T&E), Intercompany Accounting, Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, Bank Reconciliations, and Finance Query Management. Working closely with the Senior Manager, you will drive operational excellence, strengthen internal controls, support finance transformation initiatives, and lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Finance Operations Management • Manage day-to-day Finance Operations activities to ensure efficient and timely service delivery. • Ensure finance processes are executed accurately, consistently, and in compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. • Monitor operational performance, productivity, service quality, and stakeholder satisfaction. • Track Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), proactively identifying, resolving, and escalating operational issues and risks. • Drive operational governance, process consistency, and service excellence. Accounts Payable (AP) • Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including invoice validation, processing, vendor master maintenance, and payment execution. • Ensure supplier invoices and payments are processed accurately and within agreed timelines. • Coordinate payment cycles and resolve payment exceptions. • Monitor AP aging, blocked invoices, and outstanding balances. • Partner with Procurement, business units, and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies. • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, procurement policies, and internal controls. Travel & Expense (T&E) • Oversee employee travel and expense reimbursement processes. • Ensure compliance with corporate travel and expense policies. • Administer corporate credit card programs and reconciliations. • Monitor expense processing turnaround times and policy compliance. • Promote awareness and adherence to expense policies across the organization. Intercompany Accounting • Manage monthly and quarterly intercompany reconciliations and settlement activities. • Resolve intercompany differences and aged balances in a timely manner. • Coordinate with local, regional, and global finance teams to ensure accurate reconciliations. • Support transfer pricing compliance, intercompany agreement governance, and financial close activities. Fixed Asset Accounting • Oversee asset capitalization, transfers, disposals, and depreciation. • Maintain an accurate and complete fixed asset register. • Coordinate periodic physical asset verification exercises. • Support capital expenditure monitoring and reporting. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. Lease Accounting • Manage lease accounting in accordance with IFRS 16 / MFRS 16. • Maintain lease schedules and supporting documentation. • Review lease modifications and reassessments. • Ensure accurate lease accounting entries, reconciliations, and reporting. Bank Reconciliation • Perform timely bank reconciliations for all assigned accounts. • Match bank transactions against general ledger records. • Investigate and resolve outstanding reconciliation items. • Liaise with banking partners and internal stakeholders to clear reconciling differences. • Ensure reconciliation activities comply with established controls and procedures. Controls, Risk & Compliance • Maintain effective internal controls and segregation of duties. • Support internal and external audit activities. • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, company policies, and SOX/internal control requirements where applicable. Process Improvement & Finance Transformation • Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, and optimize finance processes. • Leverage ERP systems and digital tools to improve operational efficiency. • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. • Support finance transformation, system implementations, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management • Lead, coach, and develop Finance Operations team members. • Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performance culture. • Support employee development through coaching, cross-training, and knowledge sharing. • Coordinate workload planning and resource allocation to achieve service commitments. • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. • Minimum 6–10 years of experience in Finance Operations, Shared Services, Transactional Finance, or a high-volume finance environment. • Good command of English; proficiency in Cantonese & ability to read Chinese. • Proven experience managing finance operational processes and service delivery. • 2–4 years of supervisory or people management experience is preferred. • Experience working with ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, Coupa, OneStream, or equivalent enterprise financial systems. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, finance operations, internal controls, and compliance requirements. • Experience supporting audits, finance transformation, or process improvement initiatives is an advantage. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Executive / Senior Executive, Accounts Payable & Cash Management, Monthly Salary - RM 3,500 to RM 5,800 Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. Invoice Processing • Receive and review vendor invoices through the ERP system, ensuring accuracy, validity, and completeness. • Validate invoices against purchase orders and follow up with requesters on discrepancies. • Ensure expenses are correctly recorded in the general ledger in compliance with policies and SOPs. • Address vendor and stakeholder inquiries professionally and promptly. • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies efficiently. 2. Payment Processing • Verify the accuracy and integrity of vendor payment information. • Process payments in compliance with tax regulations and legal requirements. • Ensure accurate recording of payments in the general ledger following policies and SOPs. • Respond to vendor and stakeholder inquiries with clear communication. 3. Staff Reimbursement / Claims • Ensure staff claims comply with internal policies, guidelines, and SOPs. • Process and review staff reimbursements independently while maintaining compliance. • Communicate closely with staff to ensure timely closure of claims. 4. Bank Reconciliation • Perform daily bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. • Reconcile open items in a timely manner. • Ensure accurate and timely posting of cash transactions in the ERP system. • Reconcile cash-related general ledger accounts. • Follow SOPs for bank reconciliation. 5. Cash Flow Management • Prepare cash flow forecasts and maintain reports for stakeholders. • Execute internal fund transfers to optimize cash positioning and fund efficiency. • Respond to stakeholder inquiries promptly and clearly. 6. Bank Account Administration • Support administrative matters related to bank accounts. • Coordinate with banks and internal departments regarding account opening and closing. 7. Reporting & Documentation • Prepare accounts payable and staff reimbursement/claims ageing reports to support financial monitoring. • Assist in preparation of other financial reports as required. • Collaborate with auditors to facilitate audit reviews. • Perform monthly account reconciliations related to accounts payable. • Assist with month-end financial closing related to accounts payable. Qualification: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable. • Experience in a global/shared services environment is an advantage. • Good command of English; proficiency in Cantonese & ability to read Chinese. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. • Experience with ERP / P2P systems (e.g., Oracle, Coupa).
