Key Responsibilities 1. Singapore Finance & Historical Clean up Review and clean up historical accounting records and outstanding finance matters for the Singapore entity. Identify and resolve long-outstanding reconciling items, accounting discrepancies and unsupported balances. Review balance sheet accounts and ensure appropriate supporting documentation is maintained. Assist in clearing historical intercompany, receivable, payable and other outstanding balances. Establish proper documentation and process to prevent recurrence of historical issues. 2. Tax Matters Support the Finance Director and external tax advisors in resolving outstanding Singapore tax matters. Compile historical financial and supporting information required for tax computations and tax fillings. Coordinate with tax agents on outstanding tax filling, assessments, queries and correspondence. Track tax-related issues, deadlines and required actions through closure. Assist in reviewing tax schedules and supporting documentation. 3. Audit & Statutory Matters Coordinate with external auditors on outstanding statutory audit matters. Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation. Follow up audit queries and assist in resolving historical audit issues. Support timely completion of outstanding statutory requirements. 4. Australia Finance support – As required Provide finance support for Australia business activities and expansion initiatives as required. Assist with accounting setup, financial reporting, processes and control for the Australia entity/business. Coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders on Australia finance matters. Assist with implementation and documentation of finance processes and controls. Support other Australia-related finance projects as assigned by the Finance Director. 5. System / SAP support Work with Finance Director and relevant system/IT teams to resolve finance system issues. Support Data clean up and system/ process improvements. Ensure system records are properly aligned with accounting and reporting requirements. Job Requirements Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent professional qualification. Min 5 to 8 years of relevant accounting/finance experience. Strong experience in financial accounting, audit and tax coordination. Experience with Singapore statutory accounting/tax matters is highly preferred. Experience in handling historical accounting clean up or finance improvement projects. Australia finance/accounting experience is an advantage, but not mandatory. SAP experience and Navision System are an advantage. Strong Excel and analytical skills. Able to work independently and take ownership with minimal day-to-day supervision. Strong problem solving and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working with incomplete historical records and resolving complex outstanding issues.
