Head of Finance

Responsible for leading and managing the overall financial operations of the company, including financial reporting, treasury management, budgeting, taxation, compliance, and internal controls. Oversees the finance team, including General Ledger, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Billing functions, ensuring all financial processes operate efficiently and in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. Financial Management & Reporting Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and board reports. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end financial closing. Monitor financial performance including revenue, operating costs, margins, and profitability. Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS) and statutory regulations. Cash Flow & Treasury Management Oversee cash flow planning and liquidity management. Monitor working capital including accounts receivable collection, accounts payable payments, and inventory financing. Manage banking relationships including loan facilities, overdrafts, bank guarantees, and hire purchase financing. Ensure proper treasury controls and approval processes for all payments. Taxation & Statutory Compliance Ensure compliance with corporate tax, SST regulations, and statutory filings. Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities. Review tax planning opportunities to optimize the company’s tax position.
