Job Summary The Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager will support the Head of Finance in managing the company’s accounting and finance operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, proper controls, and timely compliance with statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage and review General Ledger (GL) activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations. Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial reports, and financial analysis . Support month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely submission of financial reports. Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents for annual audit, tax computation, and statutory requirements. Assist in monitoring tax matters, statutory compliance, and filing deadlines . Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and variance analysis. Review accounting transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and internal controls. Provide financial information and analysis to the Head of Finance for decision-making. Liaise with other departments on finance and accounting matters. Perform other duties and projects assigned by the Head of Finance. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline . Minimum 5 years of full set of accounting and finance experience. Strong knowledge of General Ledger, financial reporting, audit, taxation, and month-end closing . Experience in liaising with external auditors and tax agents. Candidates with experience using Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) will be highly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities. Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
