About the role This position will prioritise the development of a central commercial data platform by accumulating and organising past and present supplier quotations, particularly from awarded projects, to create a reliable pricing track record for future project tenders. Key responsibilities Build and maintain a supplier pricing database for common brands and products, including quotations, product information and historical pricing, while liaising directly with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain the latest prices, product updates and commercial information Establish a catalogue and product library for commonly used brands, together with standardised freight cost information, to allow the Key Account to retrieve accurate information quickly when preparing tenders and submitting Budgetary Support generating and analysing data from past, current and upcoming tenders, including budgetary information, costing, tender documentation, pricing comparisons and commercial summaries, while effectively utilising AI tools, Excel Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP to improve accuracy, efficiency and turnaround time Use digital and AI tools to improve efficiency and data management, while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of assigned tasks Provide tender and costing support, including preparing and sending enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors, obtaining and comparing quotations, and compiling pricing information Assist the Key Account Manager in liaising with suppliers and manufacturers, gathering product information, catalogues and specifications, as well as preparing VE proposals, presentations and customer-related documentation About you Diploma and bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related disciplines 2-3 years' experience in QS, construction or builder background, engineering or M&E industry Proficient in Excel and data management skills, with basic knowledge of digital/AI tools Able to analyse and compare pricing, communicate with suppliers/subcontractors, work independently and manage multiple tasks Knowledge of tendering, costing, procurement or construction is an advantage Experience in sales support, tender, costing, procurement or project administration will be an advantage QS in construction or builder background, including experience managing subcontractor pricing and supplier price comparisons, will be preferred Ability to read and understand PDF and AutoCAD drawings will be an advantage
