Role Overview The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including financial strategy, capital management, regulatory compliance and risk management. The CFO plays a critical role in project financing, investment analysis and long-term asset value creation. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives. Provide strategic recommendations to the top management on growth, investments and financial performance. Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting and forecasting. 2. Project & Investment Finance Structure and secure financing for property development projects. Conduct feasibility studies, financial modeling and ROI analysis for new developments. Monitor project cash flow, cost control and profitability. 3. Capital & Cash Flow Management Manage capital structure, liquidity and funding requirements. Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow planning and working capital optimization. Maintain strong relationships with banks, investors and financial institutions. 4. Financial Reporting & Compliance Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory standards. Oversee audits, tax planning and statutory compliance. Implement and maintain robust internal controls and governance frameworks. 5. Risk Management Identify financial risks related to market conditions, project execution and funding. Develop mitigation strategies for interest rate, currency and liquidity risks. Ensure proper insurance and risk coverage for development projects. 6. Team Leadership Lead, mentor and develop the finance and accounting team. Foster a high-performance culture and continuous improvement mindset. Oversee and provide leadership to the Credit & Sales Administration function, ensuring effective processes, controls and alignment with the company’s business objectives. 7. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management from time to time. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, MICPA, etc.) is preferred. Minimum 10 years of financial leadership experience, preferably in property development/ real estate or construction. Deep understanding of real estate development cycles and funding structures. Good understanding of credit control and sales administration processes, preferably within the property development industry. Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills. High integrity and leadership capability.
