Finance Manager / Head of Finance

POSITION SUMMARY We are a regional chemicals group with operations across Southeast Asia. Our Kuantan operations are seeking an experienced Finance Leader to oversee finance functions across multiple entities, covering financial reporting, treasury, cash flow management, compliance, and internal controls. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the day-to-day activities of the Finance Department across the company and its subsidiaries Oversee tax and treasury operations, including cash flow planning and forex management Liaise with bankers, tax agents, auditors, government authorities, and other relevant bodies Prepare and analyse cash flow projections and monthly financial forecasts Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to management Ensure full compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements Provide financial insights to support business decisions and group reporting Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance, and/or a professional accounting qualification (CA / CPA / ACCA / MIA) Minimum 8 years of finance and treasury experience, with proven leadership scope Hands-on experience managing complex cash flow and forex exposure, ideally in a multi-entity environment Strong working knowledge of Malaysian tax and statutory requirements Proven leadership ability and the maturity to engage with senior stakeholders across the Group Candidates currently based in Kuantan or genuinely open to relocation are encouraged to apply!
