Financial Accounting & Reporting Senior Executive

About the role Financial Accounting & Reporting Senior Executive responsible for preparing, reviewing and overseeing the full set of accounts for property development companies, including project costing, development expenditure, progress billing and purchasers' accounts. Key responsibilities Prepare, review and oversee the full set of accounts for property development companies, including project costing, development expenditure, progress billing and purchasers' accounts Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting to Management Prepare and monitor project cash flow, budgets, forecasts and funding requirements Monitor project costs, collections, debtors ageing and financial performance against budget Oversee daily finance and accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, petty cash and fixed assets Review payment vouchers, supporting documents, payroll and salary slips before approval Monitor bank accounts, cash position, loan repayments and banking facilities Handle and coordinate project financing, bridging loans, loan applications, drawdowns and bank guarantees Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretary and relevant authorities Ensure timely statutory submissions and compliance with SSM, LHDN and other regulatory requirements About you Minimum Diploma or professional qualification in Accounting/Finance Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably in property development Must have hands-on experience preparing a full set of accounts Required to be familiar with: SQL, UBS, UBS Payroll Good knowledge of property development accounting, project costing, progress billing, taxation, audit and financing Strong teamwork, analytical, planning and communication skills
