A trusted leader - TAO an Authorised Engineering Organisation company with TfNSW (engineering & rail) & Technical Services (surveillance) engineering & cadastral with TfNSW - Roads. Geo supports client's and projects providing Civil Surveying, Cadastral Surveying, 3D Scanning, NavVis, modelling & Digital Engineering Solutions. The Opportunity We are looking for 3 experienced Engineering/Construction Surveyors – Senior - lead, 2 independent for new awards and current in Sydney. Works are long term infrastructure projects in the Sydney area. Working both independently and as part of a talented team you will have the opportunity to work on multiple engineering projects across Sydney. We provide engineering survey, road, rail & surveillance solutions to diverse types of projects from large infrastructure clients to medium/smaller specialised projects. You will work with technologies across the surveying spectrum and have the opportunity to grow and progress within the business. What you will need Work independently and manage your own schedule, while receiving support from the leadership team. Professional client relations, liaising closely with engineers & project managers. Manage workflow, conformance reporting & QA documentation. Key responsibilities To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills: Demonstrated experience working on engineering & rail surveying projects Diploma or higher qualifications 4+ years experience senior, 3 + years surveyor Proven experience in managing survey independently and leading a team Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and software 12d & 12d Field The ability to work in a technically complex environment and deliver project milestones An understanding of point cloud capture technologies and solutions including processing and data modelling Demonstrated time management skills, managing survey data with an ability to work on multiple projects at the same time A motivated person with a passion for Surveying Experience in RMS G71 & G73 Transport (RMS) Control Survey Leica Viva | Infinity (preferable) Highly proficient in field and office work Strong Communicational and Organisational Skills A strong work ethic and adaptability A valid C class driving license White Card, National Rail Industry Worker Card (RIW Card) Our Culture Our values: We’re proud of our professional yet relaxed culture where surveyors are supported, trusted, provided experience/opportunities on diverse projects and encouraged to grow.
